Jesus at 12 Encounter

The J12 Encounter is a two-hour multimedia ministry event designed for parents and their 8 to 12-year-olds. The focus is helping “tweens” live the seven words of Jesus: "I must be about my Father's business." The Encounter shares the colorful narrative of Jesus at the age of 12 and the experience of Mary with Him in the temple found in Luke 2. Parents and tweens are interactively involved throughout the two hours as they learn actions to help them remember the seven words. The power and meaning behind the seven words that Jesus spoke at 12 are brought to life through strong, inspirational and animated teaching by Gregg Johnson. Two game shows break up the teaching segments and give opportunity to win prizes. Also, a three-part video is shown throughout the event, inspiring tweens to live the seven words. Towards the end, Gregg will call every tween to the front by name and age, praying for and speaking blessing on each one.
